Really blown away by the food and service in this store. A* throughout! We ordered 3 Chicken Tikka tower burgers, which were simply mouth-watering delicious.. it was really good, spicy, well flavoured, not over powering or just chilli. Very very good. My daughter had the haddock and chips, which was also delicious, the fish was very fresh, and soft. The chips were great, soft and I could actually taste the potato! Portion size I would say was large, we came home with a left over box of chips. Overall our experience was very good, and I will be recommending to friends and family. We will also be back very soon!
just had the peri peri chicken meal and it was the best i have ever had. Staff could do with being more friendlier but the food cannot be faulted. Was perfectly cooked not burnt and felt fresh unlike the cold and smelly stuff sold by KFC.
Used to live a very short distance from this Mr Cod. Never had anything dodgy to eat from them. However, I have witnessed several times customers come in and be very abusive towards staff. These guys take it in the chin and are respectful to everyone. Come in, be polite, make your order and if you have to wait go to the off licence next door or whatever. Genuinely good food and very patient staff given all the rubbish they have to out up with. Will be visiting again now that I'm back in Reading.
As a muslim i definitely look for a halal and obviously this branch is halal. I ordered fish and chips and fish burger. I like that it is not oily. Great experience.
Excellent service, a welcoming and comfortable atmosphere, and a stunning surroundings. The only drawback was that we had to wait a long time for the bill. Everything else food just perfect. Recommended

Excellent restaurant. The restaurant offers plenty of seats and is bright and colourful on the inside. There is a vast selection on the list. For my main course, I chose wings and chips with a great sauces. The food was delicious and the service was polite. I highly recommend visiting this place.
I recently ordered 20 protions of Fish and Chips for a Wine Tasting @rdgbiscuitfactory on behalf of Thames Valley Wine School. The order arrived when it was meant to and everyone raved about the food, with everyone asking where it came from. Highly reccomend.
